Matariki at the Museum.

On Monday the 26th of June we went on a bus to the Auckland Museum.

We walked around and around and we saw some cool stuff!

Like dinosaur bones.

And a huge shark.

We heard a story of Matariki.  I chose the kiwi design for my face.  I made a pot out of clay too.

I Can Find The Word-of-the-Week.

I am learning about the word - here.  This is a photo of my reader from this week - The Leaf Boats.  I can draw a circle around 'here' with my finger on the whiteboard on the ipad.  

"It was tricky to put the circle around the word because my drawing was a bit big.  I like reading when I'm finished."

I Can Order Numbers 1 - 15.

"It was tricky to write the numbers.  I don't think my 2 is the right way?  I am proud of 11 because it looks good.  I like counting with my whole family."
